The Department has been awarded two studentships in the ESRC's Doctoral Training Centre competition.
The Department’s two postgraduate research pathways – in Social Policy and in Evidence-Based Social Intervention – have been accredited and funded as part of the Economic and Social Research Council’s Doctoral Training Centre competition.
The results of the competition were announced by ESRC in January.
We anticipate having two studentships a year for five years from 2011/12.
All Home/EU students who successfully apply to study for a DPhil supervised by a member of staff in the Department will be considered for one of these awards.
