The Centre for the Analysis of South African Social Policy (CASASP) will be hosting the first annual Zola Skweyiya Lecture on South African Social Policy at 5pm on Tuesday 17th May 2011. This event will take place within the Department for Social Policy and Intervention, Barnett House, 32 Wellington Square, Oxford.
Our speaker for this inaugural event will be His Excellency Dr Zola Skweyiya himself.
Dr. Skweyiya is the South African High Commissioner to the UK. Prior to this current role he spent ten years as Minister of Social Development (1999-2009) and five years as Minister of Public Service and Administration (1994-1999).
Dr Skweyiya's lecture will focus on current issues in South African social policy.
The lecture will take place between 5pm and 6pm, followed by a drinks reception in Barnett House.
CASASP is based within the Oxford Institute of Social Policy at the Department of Social Policy and Intervention.
