CEBI Seminars: These presentations bring top researchers from around the University and the world to talk about their work around a 'What works?' theme in Social Intervention. The series is split between focussed seminars in the HIV field and broader presentations in the Evidence Based Social Intervention arena. They take place in Michaelmas Term.

Current Issues in Social Policy: This series has addressed various topical issues of comparative social policy research. Key themes have included: welfare state transformations with a special focus on the shifting public/private mix, the role of ideas and welfare cultures in comparative welfare state research, and welfare states in uncertain times with a special focus on the interrelationship of the Great Recession and social policy. They take place in Hilary Term.

European Studies Centre

This series titled 'Higher Education in Europe: Recent Reform and Its Impact on Research, Quality and Equity' will take place at 5pm on Thursday in Michaelmas Term.
