Social Fluidity in Europe

A new paper from the Institute of New Economic Thinking looks at inter-generational class mobility in Europe. Work in this area to date has tended to look at a small number of countries, but this study uses data from 30 countries. It's a newly constructed comparative data-set that allows the authors to provide an up-to-date account of the rates of intergenerational class mobility for men.
