We are looking forward to welcoming back former students and friends for this year's Alumni Weekend lecture. Tickets are disappearing fast, and all Oxford alumni are welcome, not just those who have studied with our Department in its former incarnations.
This year, Professor Mary Daly, Professor of Sociology and Social Policy, will be giving our lecture on Children and Social Policy in Europe.
It will take place here at Barnett House from 2.30 - 3.30pm on Friday 14th September, followed by refreshments.
Join us for an opportunity to reflect on the treatment of children in social policy. Juxtaposing a child-centred and a child-oriented policy paradigm, this talk seeks to take stock of recent policy developments in Europe and beyond, and assess our progress in developing child-centred policies.
Tickets can only be booked through the central booking system here. The cost is £10, or free to Department of Social Policy and Intervention alumni. To get your discount booking code email firstname.lastname@example.org confirming your course and matriculation year.
You are warmly encouraged to book soon; we look forward to seeing you in September.
