Carrying out evaluations with families facing adversity

Researchers from our Department often partner with third sector organisations to evaluate programmes and help inform decisions about which interventions work best. In a recent blog post for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC), Professor Jane Barlow (our Director of Research) talks about the challenges involved in evaluating interventions with families who lead chaotic lives.

You can read Jane's blog here to learn more about Parents Under Pressure™ service, and how Jane's team tackled the challenges of their randomised controlled trial.
