Fran Bennett, our Senior Research and Teaching Fellow, is one of the winners of the inaugural Cambridge University Press Award for Excellence in Social Policy Scholarship. Awarded for the best paper in the past year in the journal Social Policy and Society, Fran has received this accolade for the paper Jane Millar and she wrote together entitled 'Universal Credit: Assumptions, Contradictions and Virtual Reality'.
The award was announced at last night's dinner at the annual conference of the Social Policy Association which is taking place at the University of York.
