I am a Keasbey Scholar pursuing an MPhil in Comparative Social Policy. I completed my undergraduate studies at Wesleyan University in the United States, where I majored in Psychology, French, and the College of Letters (Western Literature, History, and Philosophy). My senior undergraduate thesis analyzed political and social implications of using the western diagnosis of PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) to respond to survivors of sexual violence in rural India. I am thrilled to be continuing my studies at Oxford and look forward to both the breadth of the taught course, as well as the opportunity to further focus on social policy responses to sexual violence within my MPhil thesis research.
