Matthew Kelson is from Los Angeles, CA and did his undergraduate studies at McGill University in Montreal, QC. As a political science major, his undergraduate thesis was titled, “Including Mental Disorders in Political Behavior Research: Preliminary Evidence from South Korea”. In addition to his own undergraduate research, he has worked as a research assistant at both the Douglas Mental Health University Institute and the Center for the Study of Democratic Citizenship. At the Department of Social Policy and Intervention, he intends to continue looking at mental health by focusing on the relationship between policy and care. Matthew is doing a Master of Science in Comparative Social Policy and is a member of St Catherine’s College.
