Audrey Tan

I previously completed my BA Honours in Health Studies and Gerontology with Minors in French and Business at McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada. Currently, I am reading an MSc in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation. My research interests include exploring structural barriers to employment for persons with disabilities, health inequalities facing Canada’s Indigenous population, and Canada’s aging population. While at Oxford, I have also become involved with the Canadian Students Society, GTC’s Human Welfare Conference, the GTC Summer Ball, and am a student representative for my Department. Upon graduation from Oxford, I hope to gain employment in the field of policy analysis or program development to help improve the health and social statuses of marginalized groups.
