Johanna Dombrowski

I am a graduate student reading for the MPhil in Comparative Social Policy at the Department of Social Policy and Intervention. My academic interest centres around the comparative analysis of family policy and its effect on social and economic outcomes for women and children. I was drawn to the department for its collaborative and multi-disciplinary approach, as well as the excellent research conducted by the department’s associated research clusters.

Prior coming to Oxford, I worked on voting rights and voting policy in the United States. More specifically, I focused on removing discriminatory barriers to voting for vulnerable groups. I hold a BA in Political Science with a concentration in Global Studies from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts.
