I was attracted to the EBSIPE program due to its critical and analytical approach to evaluating social policies/programs and its focus on how to be a critical consumer of research. This program is in line with my belief that social policy and intervention should be informed by the best available evidence.

I have spent the last four years working first in the non-governmental sector, including Oxfam and Innovations for Poverty Action,  and then with the government in Ghana on developing social interventions to empower citizens. My main research interest is in child poverty and early childhood development in developing countries.
