I am pursuing an MSc in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation. I am a junior doctor and have worked clinically in Australia and the UK. I studied a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at The University of Adelaide and have a Master of Public Health from The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

I am committed to improving sexual and reproductive health and rights in the contexts of both developing and developed countries, as I believe this to be an area still requiring significant attention and progress worldwide. I am particularly interested in vulnerable groups, including: women, adolescents, and asylum seekers. I recently interned at The World Health Organization, focusing on adolescent sexual and reproductive health in low- and middle-income countries, and have volunteered in a clinical capacity in rural Tanzania. I am continuing my work with Care for Africa, an NGO in Tanzania, to introduce a malaria education pilot programme to address the need for malaria education prevention in conjunction with a government programme to distribute free mosquito nets.  Throughout this course I hope to gain a unique appreciation of the role of policy in addressing these key areas.
