Adriana is reading for the MSc Comparative Social Policy. Before coming to Oxford, she worked as Assistant Director at the Technical Secretariat of the Cabinet (President’s Office) in Mexico. She monitored the implementation of the government’s priorities, as well as several indicators and policy areas to inform the decision-making process, presidential events across the country, and the quarterly government reports. Previously she was a Research Assistant at the Centre for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE), where she worked on public policy, federalism, open government, and social policy evaluation. Â

Currently, Adriana’s research focuses on the role of fiscal federalism in poverty reduction and regional inequalities. She holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations from the Centre for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE) in Mexico City. She has completed courses on inequality and multidimensional poverty measure in Mexico. Â
