Ann Sarnak

I am an MSc student in Comparative Social Policy studying at Oxford as a Henry Fellow. My interests in the Department of Social Policy and Intervention include access to affordable housing and social safety nets in cities, as well as the relationship between housing and employment opportunities in countries with histories of race-based residential segregation. I recently graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in History, and during my time as an undergraduate, I was also a part of the Yale Global Health Scholars program, focusing on health policy. I have conducted public health research through Wits University in Johannesburg, and have also worked in housing advocacy at non-profits Ndifuna Ukwazi in Cape Town and the Metropolitan Council on Housing in New York City. At Oxford, I’m a member of St. John’s College.
