Camila Mella San Martin

Camila is a DPhil student in Social Policy and a member of Wolfson College. Her research focuses on the effects of higher education expansion policies on educational inequality and labour market returns to education in Latin America. Before coming to Oxford, Camila graduated in Sociology and in Statistics applied to Health research, both from the University of Chile. Currentlay, she works as a free-lance journalist (having worked for several student journals, NGOs, and newspapers) and as a tutor for the course 'Politics in Latin America'. In 2015, she was the President of the Oxford University Chilean Society.
