Carlee Goldberg

Carlee Goldberg is a Rotary and Truman Scholar reading for the Master of Science in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Duke University, graduating magna cum laude in 2022. Following a mass shooting in her hometown of Parkland, Florida, Carlee researches multi-disciplinary methods to reduce gun violence, including through public health, legal, and policy approaches. Prior to coming to Oxford, she served as President of the Triangle Debate League, a non-profit organization aimed at increasing access to speech and debate opportunities among high school students. Her master’s thesis will focus on the impact evaluation of community-based violence interruption programs on reducing gun crime amongst juvenile offenders.
