Cole Scanlon is an MSc student in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation. His research interests include understanding the causes and consequences of high rates of social mobility. In particular, Cole wants to understand how city-level policies can increase social mobility in the USA. Outside of his coursework, Cole co-directs Harvard’s Lab for Entrepreneurship and Development (LEAD) and Fair Opportunity Project, an education technology nonprofit that he was awarded Forbes 30 Under 30 for co-founding. He holds an A.B. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College.
