David Weisstanner is a Research Officer at the Department of Social Policy and Intervention and the Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET) at the University of Oxford. As part of the Oxford Martin Programme on Inequality and Prosperity, he works on the effects of economic inequality on political behaviour. David has obtained his PhD in political science at the University of Bern. His research focuses on the political causes and consequences of economic inequality. He is interested broadly in comparative politics, comparative political economy, social policy and labour market policy.
