Gina is a student in the MSc of Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation program. Originally from Charleston, Illinois, she received a B.S. in Economics, with a concentration in Statistics, and a B.A. in Biology, with a concentration in Computational Biology, from the University of Pennsylvania.
Gina is interested in injury and violence prevention. Her work focuses on gun violence, particularly the role of gun buyback programs in reducing crime and violent injuries. In the future Gina hopes to attend medical school, further exploring the intersection between social intervention/policy and clinical outcomes.
