Hannah Kowe

Hannah graduated from UCL’s School of European Languages, Culture and Society with a BA in Italian Studies. As part of her undergraduate programme, she studied for one year at the University of Bologna. Prior to joining the DSPI, she worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Positive Psychology and Education in Sydney, Australia, where she collaborated on a study into the psychosocial determinants of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander professionals’ socio-economic well-being.

Hannah’s main research interests concern mental health interventions in the mainstream education system, and the issue of racial inequality and social exclusion within mental health provision, primarily in Britain and Australia.
