Following graduation, Lian has completed a Congressional Fellowship at the US Senate, where she worked as a foreign policy advisor to Senator Brian Schatz (D-HI). She was also a featured speaker at the Forbes Israel 30 Under 30 Summit, which was part of Lian’s larger role as an international public speaker, where she focuses her talks on a broad range of issues, including social inclusion, social entrepreneurship, and raising awareness to invisible illnesses. While at the department, Lian hopes to focus her research on the fundamental stages of policy development and the successful implementation of initiatives designed to promote political and social inclusion within society, particularly those geared towards marginalised groups.
