Martin is reading for an MSc in Comparative Social Policy and a member of St Antony’s College. Prior to joining the department, he worked as an Investment Banking Analyst for Goldman Sachs and interned with the United Nations in the Executive Office of the Secretary-General and the UNODC Programme Office Serbia. Martin holds a BSc in International Economics and Management from Bocconi University, evaluating the long-term fiscal sustainability of the Austrian pension system in his dissertation.
In the field of comparative social policy, Martin is mainly interested in issues related to ageing societies, in particular pension systems, pension privatizations (and their reversal), as well as health care financing.
