My name is Nadine Jawad and I am from Dearborn, Michigan. I previously earned my bachelors degree in Public Policy and completed coursework for a pre-medical track. I am interested in how social policies- particularly in health, education, and poverty- broadly impact public health outcomes for immigrants and refugees in "Western" countries. I also run a small nonprofit that works on education inequality in Michigan. For both of these reasons, my course makes sense to supplement and strengthen my ability to address my passions.
