DPhil student Anders Bach-Mortensen
Anders is an Oxford-Trygfonden Scholar and DPhil candidate in Social Intervention. Prior to joining the department as a doctoral researcher, Anders completed the MSc in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation, also funded by the Oxford-Trygfonden scholarship. Previously, he worked as a research assistant in the field of Behavioural Economics at the Social Science Center Berlin (WZB) and studied for his undergraduate at the Copenhagen Business School and the Freie Universitaet (Berlin). For his doctorate research, Anders is interested in improving the evidence-base on the third sector delivery of public and social services. This includes investigating the evaluation and implementation practice of third sector organisations with a particular focus on how current commissioning and regulation requirements facilitate (or fail to facilitate) service deliveries in accordance to 'best practice'.
