DPhil Candidate, Social Policy
Chauncey's DPhil research focuses on the relationship between social policy preferences and socio-economic positions and far right support in Europe, and the UK in particular. Her research is mainly quantitative, using repeated cross-sectional public opinion and attitudinal data.
Prior to her DPhil and MPhil work, Chauncey held positions with both the Ministry of the Attorney General for Ontario, and the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman in the UK.
Chauncey holds an MPhil from the University of Oxford in Comparative Social Policy, as well as an LL.B. from Osgood Hall Law School in Toronto, and a B.A. in Philosophy from Queens University, Kingston.
