Roosa Lambin

I hold a particular interest in social policy in the developing world context and the related processes of transnational social policy making by diverse actors. My doctoral research focuses on contemporary philanthropic development aid and the distinctiveness of its social policy influence in the health sector within the changing aid landscape.

I hold a MA in International Social Policy from the University of Nottingham, and I completed my BA in Social Policy in the University of Turku with minors in Development Studies, Multiculturalism and French language. I have previously worked at the research department of the Social Insurance Institution of Finland (KELA), at the International Labour Organization (ILO) and United Nations' Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD).
