After graduating from the London School of Economics in 2010, I took a year out to volunteer abroad which sparked my love of travelling. I spent the year in places like Mexico, China and Kenya and have been working my way through a bucket list of all the countries I want to visit! I have worked in both Central and Local Government, focusing on the Skills and Employment Sector. In my most recent role, I created policies and programmes that equipped disadvantaged groups with the skills, experience and knowledge they needed to successfully secure sustainable employment. I chose to do the Msc in Comparative Social Policy because I wanted to do further research into this area and learn about how policies can be used to transform the socioeconomic landscapes in countries across the world… my own (Nigeria) included.
