Tyler Pager is reading for the MSc in Comparative Social Policy. He graduated valedictorian and summa cum laude from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University with majors in journalism and political science. During his time at Northwestern, he worked for The Boston Globe, POLITICO, and USA TODAY, and he served as the editor in chief of The Daily Northwestern. He also worked with the Chicago Tribune on a project investigating issues of child welfare that was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in investigative reporting.
Tyler’s research interests include care for vulnerable populations, government accountability, and policy implementation. He hopes to pursue a career in journalism focusing on the intersection of politics and policy.
