Tyler Pugh is currently a MSc student within the DSPI department concurrently working as a researcher at Stanford University. Before this, Tyler studied at Virginia Tech as a Grado Scholar where he received Honors Diplomas in both Industrial and Systems Engineering and Spanish, graduating Magna Cum Laude. While there, Tyler founded the first collegiate male survivor support group, spoke as a TEDx Speaker, conducted research as an international scholar and fellow at the University of Oxford, and was selected for Undergraduate Student of the Year.
Tyler's Master's Thesis will examine the intersection between simulation modeling and policy surrounding sexual violence intake, employing data science to inform social intervention on international scales.
