The Department of Social Policy & Intervention is seeking to appoint two part-time Research Assistants to join a research group with responsibility for the provision of research support in the field of comparative social policy for children in high-income countries during COVID-19, the role would report to Professor Mary Daly.
You will hold a first degree and be working towards a doctorate in comparative family and child policy. You will have specialist knowledge in the field of child-related social policy and its variation (especially in high-income countries) to allow you to populate the data-base and undertake theoretical and empirical analysis. Excellent communication skills and experience of qualitative policy analysis are also essential. Experience of working in a research team and contributing to children-related data compilation is also desirable.
