Alejandro has worked at the interface of social and health policy across the public, think tank and academic sectors, in international and domestic policy making contexts. His experience spans policy analysis, development, delivery and evaluation, and his main topics of interest are global health policy and pandemic preparedness, sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender and social policy and international development. He currently works as Head of Clinical Countermeasures R&D Policy in the Pandemic Preparedness team at the UK Department of Health and Social Care. Alejandro holds an MSc in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation (University of Oxford).
