Jim Schmeckenbecher is a visiting researcher interested in violence research and quantitative methods. He holds an MSc and a BSc in Psychology from the University of Vienna and a PhD in Mental Health from the Medical University of Vienna. Prior to joining DSPI, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King's College London.
During his time at DSPI, he will collaborate with Professor Dave K. Humphreys examining the relationship between violence against women and public health crises.
