Brand new look for the Department of Social Policy and Intervention (DSPI)

Today marks an exciting day for DSPI. We are delighted to announce the launch of a transformed website, featuring a new brand identity.

Both the website and branding have been completely redesigned with a fresh new look that reflects DSPI’s position at the forefront of social policy research and the development and evaluation of social intervention. Most importantly, both now emphasise how our collaborative work makes a positive and lasting difference to people’s lives.

One of the key drivers for these changes was to represent the ethos, heart and passion of the department in a more accurate and accessible way than before. We believe we have delivered this, thanks to the work of our two agencies, Bounce Design and Versantus.

Our new branding has been specifically designed with DSPI values in mind. Bounce Design agency has delivered an impressive brand identity that meets the brief perfectly. The new branding clearly reflects our efforts toward societal change, people-centered inclusiveness, innovative thinking, high ethical standards, and professionalism. Our new logo also represents the flow of research and information moving through the department, with the output being real-world, practical solutions. The 'flow mark' or 'swoosh' of the logo encapsulates the collaboration, pragmatism, and dynamism of the Department.

Our goal was to create an attractive, professional, easy to navigate website when we embarked on a redesign. We are delighted that the Versantus agency delivered just that. The new user-friendly website brings key content to the surface, making the site more intuitive. It now reflects DSPI’s focus on its people and aims to highlight the impact the department has made through its research work.

We will be using our new brand identity and website to help us amplify the DSPI voice, so that our reputation for ground-breaking research, and portfolio of unrivalled graduate programmes reaches an even wider audience.

We hope that you enjoy browsing the new site and learning more about DSPI. We would welcome your feedback, so please do get in touch with any comments.
