Tejashwari is passionate about researching the long-term effects and sustainability of parenting interventions to prevent violence against children in low- and middle-income countries. Before joining DSPI, she graduated with a Master’s degree in Public Health from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, India where she was awarded the University Gold Medal. Her master’s thesis focused on exploring factors associated with undernutrition in children of a Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group in India, for which she received the Best Research Project Award.
Her MSc is fully funded by the Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development at Somerville College. She works as a Research Assistant with Professor Frances Gardner.
