Ansh Sahay

Ansh Endley-Sahay is pursuing the MSc in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation. His academic interests include global health, the social and political determinants of health, and public health policy.

Ansh graduated from University College London with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences (BASc), an interdisciplinary degree through which he focussed on politics, policy, global health, economics and science policy, alongside quantitative and qualitative analysis.

He has interned with multiple social-impact-driven organisations and has extensive experience working with NGOs in Hong Kong and the UK, most recently at the Wellcome Trust within their Global Government Relations team in London. Prior to this, he organised and led two crowdfunding campaigns for Sai Kung Stray Friends, a dog shelter he volunteered at for several years in Hong Kong.

His research at the DSPI investigates the interaction of food systems with infectious diseases in South-East Asia, and the underlying mechanisms that affect this relationship.
