Arne is the Head of Administration and Finance at the Department of Social Policy and Intervention. He provides leadership for the departmental administration team and works closely with the Head of Department and other senior academic colleagues in strategic planning and growth in support of the further development of the Department.
Arne has several years of experience in finance, working for an international auditing company in Germany as well as smaller social start up enterprises in Kenya and for the “Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit” (GIZ) in Uganda, during which he was responsible for the administration and finance of their energy programme. Prior to joining DSPI he worked as Finance Manager for the Department of International Development (ODID) at the University of Oxford. Arne is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
