Margaret Lim is a student at St Catherine’s College reading for an MPhil in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation. She is passionate about how research, legal systems, and social services can promote human welfare and protect vulnerable populations. Her thesis will focus on the impact and efficacy of school-based mental health interventions for refugee children and adolescents.

Margaret is currently an EBSIPE student representative and a member of the DSPI Graduate Joint Consultative Committee, Social Science Library Committee, and Postgraduate Student Representative Board. Prior to Oxford, Margaret graduated Phi Beta Kappa (ΦΒΚ) from Cornell University's College of Arts & Sciences. She double majored in Government and English and minored in Law & Society (BA, magna cum laude).
