Sophia Hartman

Sophia Hartman is studying for her MSc in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation. Prior to pursuing her master’s, Sophia graduated from the University of Richmond with a BA in Leadership Studies and minors in Latin American, Latino & Iberian Studies, Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies, and Dance.

Sophia is interested in research on sexual and gender-based violence prevention, specifically through mixed methods and community-engaged or participatory action research. She is invested in learning about the roles of community and collective care in sexual violence prevention, as well as understanding the mechanisms and impacts of digital sexual violence.
