Zeenia Framroze attended St John's College as a Keasbey Scholar at the University of Oxford. As a student in the Comparative Social Policy MPhil program, her dissertation studied the welfare state and governance gaps in South and South East Asian states. With a background in Political Theory from Harvard, she studied the degree to which public responsibility was placed on the private sector through mandatory CSR legislation in India and Indonesia. Her courses focused on the intersection between race and social policy, and health and family policy. She is hoping to apply her experiences to a career in public policy and innovation, or local government. Her research interests include the growth of smart cities and policy transfer, public-private partnerships in hybrid welfare regimes, and social contract theory.
