Joana Geisler

Joana holds a BSc in Economics and a BA in Philosophy from Erasumus University Rotterdam. Her research interests lie at the intersection of European economic and social policy, with a focus on how to promote inclusive growth in low-income regions.

Having worked as a research assistant on several projects on health inequalities, she co-authored a paper on Covid-19 mortality inequality in the Netherlands. At DSPI, she is involved in a research project on the relationship between health and wealth under the supervision of Prof. Aaron Reeves.
